Full Title: Nikola Tesla and the Fall of the Third Reich

Description: This was a fun side project my friends and I created for the CG Society contest called “B-Movie Challenge”. The goal was to produce a 30 second and 2 minute trailer for a B-movie (low-budget style). The premise of our story is that the Nazi’s stole technology from Nikola Tesla and he had to get it back. We ended up winning in the categories of compositing and editing. The above video is the 30 second trailer mixed with the making-of video. It does not include the full 2 minute trailer.

What I did: I built the death-ray gun and a few other props. I also created the pre-production animatics and shot all of the video. During post-production I composited all of the shots for the Nazi gate sequence and then edited the two trailers and the making-of video.
